Catharine Sorensen | Registered Physiotherapist
Catharine graduated from University of Toronto in 1997. Since then Catharine has worked in Sports Physiotherapy and Orthopedics in Toronto, Calgary and Wasaga Beach. Sports Physiotherapy experience includes international diving, figure skating, equestrian and basketball, national women’s hockey, and professional dance with the Alberta Ballet. Catharine has completed training in Part A Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
In addition, Catharine has a wide variety of treatment choices for every injury based on research and education through Sarhmann, Mulligan and Butler. She has also completed certification in acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada.
In 2008 Catharine became certified in pelvic floor rehabilitation with special interest in women’s health including peri-natal health and incontinence.
Catharine loves mixing in her sports experience to build up the pelvic floor for return to sport.
